How to Use Tripo3D H3.1 Multiview to 3D

  1. Upload 2-4 reference images: Different angles of the same object - front, side, and back are ideal.

  2. Pick texture quality: standard (default) or detailed.

  3. Pick geometry quality: detailed adds finer surface detail (+$0.20).

  4. Optional add-ons: quad for clean topology (+$0.05), pbr for PBR materials, auto_size for auto-scaling.

  5. Submit: Poll until the prediction returns a .glb URL.

Frequently asked

How many images do I need?

At minimum 2 images, ideally 3-4 from different angles. More than 4 isn't supported.

Do the images need a consistent background?

Yes - clean, consistent backgrounds across angles produce the cleanest geometry.

How does this differ from single-image?

Multi-view reconstruction is significantly more accurate for asymmetric objects and avoids the hallucinated geometry single-image reconstruction sometimes produces on the back-facing surfaces.
